Foxy is in the Magic Forest. The trees are tall and green. The flowers smell very sweet. Foxy is a happy boy. he wants to play. Look! A little squirrel is sitting on a branch. Chapter 2A: The Friendly Ladybug
Foxy looks under the big, soft green leaves. No acorn here! But look! A tiny, friendly red ladybug is crawling on a leaf. The ladybug says, ‘Hello, Foxy! Are you looking for something?’ Foxy smiles. ‘Yes, we are looking for a shiny acorn!’ The ladybug wants to help. The ladybug flies up high to see better. Together, they walk to the sparkling river. Let us go!
Chapter 2B: The Sleepy Owl
Foxy looks inside the hollow, cozy tree trunk. No acorn here! But look! A sweet, sleepy brown owl is resting inside. The owl opens one big, warm eye. ‘Hello, Foxy!’ the owl whispers. ‘Are you looking for something?’ Foxy smiles. ‘Yes, we are looking for a shiny acorn!’ The owl wants to help. Chapter 3: The Little Bunny
Now Foxy has a new friend! They walk to the sparkling river. The water goes splash, splash! Oh look! A little white bunny is hopping by the water. Chapter 4A: The Big Wooden Bridge
Foxy and the bunny walk across the big, strong wooden bridge. It is safe and high. The bunny holds Foxy’s hand. Foxy feels happy to help. They reach the other side. The bunny’s family is there! They all say, ‘Thank you, Foxy!’ The bunny gives Foxy a warm, soft hug. Now, they hear a funny sound in the bushes. What is it? Let us go see together!
Chapter 4B: The Safe Stepping Stones
Foxy and the bunny step on the flat, safe stepping stones. One, two, three, hop! It is so much fun. The bunny holds Foxy’s hand. Foxy feels happy to help. They reach the other side safely. The bunny’s family is there! They all say, ‘Thank you, Foxy!’ The bunny gives Foxy a warm, soft hug. Now, they hear a funny sound in the bushes. What is it? Let us go see together!
Chapter 5: The Big Friendly Bear

The big bear catches it and smells it. ‘Mmm, so sweet!’ the bear says. The bear is so happy. ‘Thank you, Foxy and ladybug!’ Now, they are all great friends. They decide to walk together to the sunny meadow.

Foxy asks the sleepy owl to fly up, up, up! The owl flies to the pretty yellow flower. The owl gently taps the flower with his wing. The flower shakes, and a sweet, golden seed falls down. Foxy and the friends run to the giant mushroom. They all squeeze under the big, red cap. It is like a big umbrella! They are warm and dry. The rain goes drip, drop, drip, drop on the mushroom. Foxy and the friends work together. They build a cozy tent with long, soft branches. The big bear holds the branches. The bunny ties them. They all go inside. It is warm and dry!
